With a clear design concept based on a light, modern interior and massive volumes, Italian shipyard Palumbo launched the Columbus 177 Prima earlier this year. With naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo and Tommaso Spadolini of Spadolini Studio Design signed up for her interior designs, Prima is an excellent example of the pure, meticulous and refined design Italians have become renowned for worldwide. Add to that the accomplishment of being rewarded a RINA Green Star Plus Platinum and an ABS Classification, the former being all the more prestigious for being awarded by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco in the presence of His Majesty the King of Spain, Prima turns out to be not merely elegant but certified environmentally friendly as well.
