Mika Tolvanen (b. 1975) is a Finnish designer who has graduated from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2001. Mika Tolvanen designs mainly furniture, but also different kinds of interior decoration products, as well as lighting.
His creations include collaborative projects with a number of well-known companies, including KFF, Muuto, Offecct, Selki-Asema and Zanotta. In 2009, Mika Tolvanen designed the Restore storage basket for Muuto, an eco-friendly object created with polymer felt obtained from recycled PET bottles.
Restore is a beautiful and functional product that is large enough to store or carry magazines, toys or even a small batch of firewood.
Mika Tolvanen is also one of the founders of the Rehti Design Group in Finland.
