Dodo Arslan is an Italian designer of Amenian origin who works and lives in Milan.
He has been selected by Taschen for Design Now!, a publication that features 90 top-designers and firms, and for Design/Art Limited Editions, a complete DesignArt publication that features 70 world-renowned designers.
Arslan has been awarded the Young&Design prize, as well as the Mini Design Award, the Pirelli Pzero Logo and the Art Directors Club.
His works have been exhibited at the National Science and Technology Museum in Milan for the Welltech Award, at the Inside Art event held at the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro and in various museums around the world: Berlin, Beijing, Istambul, London, Madrid, Mumbai, Nantou, New York, Shanghai.
The Triennale Design Museum has dedicated him a personal exhibition “Le Attrazioni della Materia” and a catalogue where he presented his approach through his most significant work.
Otto, a limited edition carbon chair created for the exhibition, has entered the Permanent Collection of Italian Design.
He has held lectures and Workshops at Design faculties in Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Egypt, England and Sweden.
Before running his own studio he worked at Studio & Partners (N. Bewick, M. De Lucchi, T. Fritze) for Deutsche Post, British American Tobacco, Zumtobel Staff winning the Design Plus award, at Continuum (Milano - Boston - Seoul) for Motorola, Hewlett Packard, Elan, Voelkl and Samsung winning the Good Design Award and the KIDA Grand Prize.
