Furthermore, Mayday has been rewarded with the Compasso d'Oro award in 2001 and is also included in the Modern Art Museum's permanent exhibition. Most of all, Mayday was designed be used when necessary. For craft work, Mayday may be used with the strap for all kinds of purposes, or even fastened with the cord around the fist and put on the side. Besides, Mayday looks great in all living spaces - as a pendant, ceiling or floor light. The conical diffuser is injection-molded and consists of opaline polypropylen (UL-94HB). The hook/strap also works as a cable winder and the switch button is made of 10% polypropylen with injection-molded talc fiber (UL-94HB).
