The Titikaka bench, created by the Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa for B&B Italia, counters the strict form of traditional benches. Made of teak, the bench surface looks like a ripple made by the wind on water, while its aluminum structure creates sculptural curves which are truly practical for seat ergonomics. It won the 2010 Wallpaper Design Award.
