Laurel wreaths have long been used as a symbol for victory, and in ancient Roman times were for crowning commanders and victors in battle. The Evora modern mirror is a Rococo-style carving of a gilded laurel branch, with a circular panoramic mirror at the center. The intricate etching of the branches is gold coated to look as though Evora was taken from the richly adorned walls of centenary churches.
