Milanese Lorenz + Kaz design studio, was founded in 2001 by Catharina Lorenz and Steffen Kaz, both german designers living and working in Italy since the mid Nineties. What characterizes their creativity is their sustained quest for perfection and a hybrid “nordic- italian” imprint of their designs; aware of its origins and always willing to transform and evolve into something new and innovative. Renowned firms and brands like De Padova, Alcantara, Colé, Rossin and DuPont™ Corian® have all confided in the skills and creativity of Lorenz + Kaz. Furthermore , the designers’ projects are part of the collections of companies like Zeitraum, OmniDecor®, Antonio Lupi, Sitap and Bedont. Beyond these prestigious collaborations, Catharina Lorenz and Steffen Kaz are designing, producing and commercialising their own Lorenz + Kaz branded collection.
