Born in Udine in 1952, Enrico Franzolini studied in Florence and graduated in architecture from the University of Venice.
Franzolini pursues projects in the field of art (La Biennale di Venezia, 1972), architecture and interior design, as well as product design. He has worked with several major furniture companies. His work was published in Domus, Modo, Abitare and Interni. He was awarded the first prize in the Promosedia Fair International in 1991. In 1999 he was awardad the commendation of honor for the Compasso d'Oro (Asia chair), and in the 2005 Reddot Project Winner Award (Lagoa chair).
