Menu Kettle Teapot is a fusion of simple Asian Zen-philosophy and modern Scandinavian architecture. Designers Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn, “Tea is so much more than just a cup of hot water, and we felt that all the healthy benefits - and the sky high “cosy factor” of tea, deserved a new teapot. One where you can actually see the brewing”. The glass kettle lets you witness the whole brewing process and watch as the transparent water turns green, red, or yellow, and full of flavour. As an elegant detail the tea egg is placed right in the middle of the pot, fully visible, attached to a silicone string. When the brewing is complete, you pull the egg out of the water using the silicon string. Designers Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn, “It was the traditional red silk cord, used in old books, that led us to the idea of a silicone cord. And to stay in the well known world of tea, we placed a small mark at the end of the string, just like the ones on regular teabags". MENU Kettle Teapot brings together different traditions in one teapot and allows you to enjoy the ancient custom of tea drinking - in a new and modern way.
