Flynn Talbot's work explores the way in which light impacts human experience and transforms space. He consistently aims to create unique and intimate light pieces that enable viewers a chance to feel transported while experiencing a sense of connectedness.
His approach fuses memorable and bold aesthetics with very fine detailing, while maintaining a human element. Talbot's early career has seen many successes. In 2010 Flynn Talbot Studio was established and he was awarded "Young Lighting Designer of the Year." His interactive light installation Horizon was exhibited in Sydney, London, Perth and Frankfurt and he had his first solo exhibition with his latest piece X&Y at the prestigious Helmrinderknecht Gallery in Berlin. X&Y has since traveled to Milan, Sydney, Paris, Zurich, London, Vienna and Cologne. Talbot (*1981) lives and works in Perth, Western Australia.
