George Nelson

George Nelson (1908-1986) was one of the founders of American modernism. He graduated in architecture from Yale University in 1928, and in visual arts in 1931. He was one of the Design Directors of the Herman Miller furniture company, and he was considered the most articulate and one of the most eloquent design and architecture voices in the US throughout the 20th century.
