Constance Guisset lives and works in Paris, France. After studying at ESSEC business School and Sciences-Po, then a one-year internship at the Japanese Parliament in Tokyo, she turned towards design.
In 2007, Guisset established her own studio in Paris. Since then, she developed various furniture projects, including Vertigo lamp (2010, enveloping lamp edited by Petite Friture), Star collection (2010, furniture collection conceived for the French Institute of Turkey), Francis Mirror (2011, Wallpaper Award “Best use of color”), XtremKey (Janus de l’Industrie Award, designed for LaCie), Funambule (finalist for the Prix Emile Hermès).
She essentially creates objects, but also works on stage design and video. Her work is guided by an interest for illusion, lightness, and surprise. She creates moving objects to inspire amazement and fascination.
